赵丹，陕西师范大学教育学部特聘教授，博士生导师，教育与可持续发展智库理事。博士毕业于华中师范大学教育学院，澳大利亚新南威尔士大学联合培养博士，奥地利国际应用系统研究院博士后。曾任西北农林科技大学人文社会发展学院院长助理、副院长。申请人长期从事教育经济与管理、农村教育发展领域的研究，具体研究方向分别为：GIS与农村学校空间布局规划、农村小规模学校发展、区域义务教育均衡发展等。研究创新点在于从教育经济学、区位经济学、教育规划等交叉学科理论视角，采用国际教育规划相关技术GIS等，对乡村教育发展问题进行微观深入研究，具有独特的研究视角和创新性的研究方法。

Zhao Dan is currently a specially-appointed professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Education in Shaanxi Normal University. Member of EASDT Council. She graduated from College of Education, Huazhong Normal University with Ph.D. degree. During the doctoral period, she has been jointly trained by the University of New South Wales in Australia. She was a postdoctoral fellow of the International Institute of Applied System Analysis in Austria. She used to be the assistant dean and vice dean of the College of Humanities and Social Development of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. Professor Zhao Dan has been engaged in the research area of educational economy and management and rural education development for a long time. The specific research directions are GIS and spatial planning of rural schools, development of  small rural schools, and balanced development of regional compulsory education, etc.... The innovations of the research lies in the micro-in-depth focus on the development of rural education applying interdisciplinary theoretical perspective of educational economics, location economics and educational planning, as well as using GIS technology related to international educational planning. It has a unique research perspective and innovative research methods.
